YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT

This is an agreement between you and DAS Canada and governs your use of the DAS Canada website (the “Website”) and its content. Each time you access and use the Website, you, and any person you represent, accept and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by and comply with the terms of this agreement.

TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHTS

"DAS Canada" and the DAS Canada logo are internationally protected registered trademarks. All other company names, logos and product names appearing in the DAS Canada website may be the registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Text, pictures and graphics and their appearance on the Website are protected under copyright law and other intellectual property and proprietary legislation. These materials or any portions thereof may be used solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.  Any contents or components of the Website may not otherwise be copied, stored, displayed, reproduced or distributed without (a) the express written permission of DAS Canada and (b) provided that such use of the contents or components of the Website includes a reference to DAS Canada's copyright.  Pictures as well as articles from newspapers and magazines appearing in the Website may also in certain instances be subject to the intellectual property rights of third parties. 

Any unauthorized downloading, re-transmission or other copying or modification of the trademarks, copyrights and/or other content of the Website constitutes a violation of federal or other law and is strictly prohibited.

DAS Canada is not responsible and will not be liable to you or anyone else for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive) arising out of or in connection with the Website or its content, or your ability or inability to access or use the Website or its content, or any unauthorized use or reproduction of the Website or its content or DAS Canada’s failure to take corrective measures.

The content of the Website is provided for information purposes only and is not intended to provide specific insurance, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice to you, and should not be relied upon for that purpose. You should not act or rely on the information contained on the Website without seeking the advice of a professional.

DATA PROTECTION

When you access the Website, possible identification data (IP address) and other information (date, time, page viewed) are saved on our server for a period of no less than two months for data security purposes. The data will not be used for any other purpose, with the exception of statistics, or passed on to third parties and then only in such a way that ensures anonymity. The Website may use "cookies", a technology that installs information on a website user's computer that permits the Website to recognize future visits to the site from that computer. Cookies enhance the convenience and use of the website, though you may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits. DAS Canada will treat any personal details sent when you access our home page in strictest confidence in accordance with the ruling provisions governing data protection. If you send us an e-mail or complete and submit the online forms on our Website, your personal data (i.e. name or e-mail address and any other information you provide) will be used in accordance with our privacy policy.  The information you provide may be used to send you requested documents or information, to communicate with you or for any other purpose contemplated on the applicable form or applicable web page.

Any unprotected email communication over the Internet is not secure or confidential and is subject to possible interception or loss, and possible alteration.  DAS Canada is not responsible for and will not be liable to you or any one else for any damages in connection with an email or text message sent by you to DAS Canada.

DAS Canada shall not be held liable for any loss or damage ascribable to computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other destructive/disruptive components if you call up or download data from the Website.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement, your use of the Website, and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute between DAS CANADA and you or any other person arising from, connected with or relating to the Website, this Agreement or any related matters must be resolved before the Courts of the Province of Ontario sitting in the City of Toronto, and you hereby irrevocably submit and attorn to the original and exclusive jurisdiction of those Courts in respect of any such dispute or matter.
